Dr. Connell W. Bost

Board-Certified Pediatrician | Bilingual English/Spanish

Dr. Bost is a dedicated pediatrician with more than 25 years of experience providing exceptional care to children of all ages throughout Riverside and surrounding communities.

After years in traditional pediatrics, Dr. Bost is launching Whole Pediatrics Group in Riverside, California to provide relationship-based direct primary care to families throughout the Riverside and surrounding communities.

  • Residency: Loma Linda University Children's Hospital(1997-2000)
  • Board Certification: American Board of Pediatrics
  • Special Interests: Newborn care, pediatric hospital medicine, childhood development, holistic care

When not caring for patients, Dr. Bost enjoys photography,technology, fixing and building things, 3D printing, professional basketball, music, and volunteering with underserved populations.

When will the practice open?
Whole Pediatrics Group will open in September 2027 in Riverside, California. Founding members will be notified first and given early access to schedule appointments.
How many founding members will you accept?
We are limiting founding membership to the first 50 families to ensure we can provide the highest quality, personalized care to each family.
What happens after I submit this form?
Dr. Bost will personally reach out to discuss your family's needs, answer your questions, and provide information about joining as a founding member. You'll receive updates as we approach our September 2027 opening.
Is joining the founding member list a commitment to join when the practice opens?
No, absolutely not. Joining our founding member list is simply an expression of interest with no financial commitment. No money is exchanged at this time. This is a waitlist that allows us to notify interested families when we begin formal enrollment closer to our launch date in 2027. You'll have the opportunity to learn more, ask questions, and decide if our practice is the right fit for your family before making any commitment. You can opt out of the list at any time.
Do you accept insurance?
Direct Primary Care membership is separate from insurance. We don't bill insurance for routine visits covered by your membership. However, we provide superbills you can submit to your insurance for possible out-of-network reimbursement. You'll still need insurance for specialists, hospital stays, and prescriptions.
Can I cancel my membership?
Of course, after practice launch, there will be a cancellation policy that allows members to cancel at any time with 30 days written notice. There will be no long-term contracts or cancellation penalties.
What if I have a newborn after joining?
Congratulations! Newborns can be added to your membership. Your founding member discount applies to the newborn rate as well ($125/month instead of regular $150/month for the first year).
Where will the office be located?
Our office will be located in Riverside, California, with easy access from Corona, Redlands, Rancho Cucamonga, and throughout the Inland Empire. The exact address will be announced in early 2027.
Do you provide house calls?
Yes! Limited house calls are available throughout the Riverside area for an additional fee. Founding members receive priority scheduling for house call appointments.
Can my child be a member if they have Medi-Cal?
Unfortunately, federal Medicaid regulations prevent Direct Primary Care practices from charging membership fees to Medi-Cal beneficiaries. This isn't a decision based on ability to pay—it's a federal requirement designed to protect Medicaid patients from being charged for services their insurance already covers. We recognize this creates a difficult situation for families who would prefer our model of care but are enrolled in Medi-Cal. If your family's insurance situation changes in the future, we would welcome the opportunity to serve you. For families currently on Medi-Cal seeking relationship-based pediatric care, we recommend looking for pediatricians who participate in the Medi-Cal network.
